London: Recently, the Global Peace Index has released a list of the 10 most peaceful countries.
The Global Peace Index has compiled a list of the most peaceful countries in 2025. This list is based on a report by the Institute for Economics and Peace. The names of these 10 countries are mentioned below.
- Iceland
For the 17th consecutive year, it has been the most peaceful country in the world, free from violence or armed conflict, and this time too it is at the top.
- Ireland:
Ireland is in second place due to low militancy and increased political stability.
- New Zealand
In third place is New Zealand, the most peaceful country in Asia-Pacific, with a decrease in violence and terrorism rates.
- Austria
In addition to its stable social and military policies, Austria has been a part of peacekeeping missions in the United Nations.
- Switzerland
This country ranks fifth due to its political stability, low violence, and the excellent service of its citizens.
- Singapore
Singapore is also one of the most peaceful countries in Asia. It ranks sixth on the list due to its unique position in the best social security.
- Portugal
This country ranks seventh due to its decrease in crime and slight stability in military spending.
- Denmark
