The US President says that US trade tariffs on Canada will be announced in the next seven days, Canada is a difficult country to trade with.

He said that Canada has been imposing a tax of up to 400% on dairy products on our farmers for the past several years.

Donald Trump said that Canada is copying the European Union, which is already under discussion, doing business with the US will no longer be so easy.

What is a digital services tax?
A digital services tax is a tax levied on online companies, such as Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, etc. Most of the profits of these companies go to the United States, so the United States objects to it.

This new Canadian tax will take effect from Monday and will be calculated from the old year 2022.

Canada is the largest buyer of the United States, it bought $ 349 billion worth of American goods last year, while the United States imported $ 413 billion worth of Canadian goods.

If the United States imposes new tariffs on Canada, Canada may also impose higher taxes on American goods in response. This will harm the economies of both countries.
