RPO Sahiwal Mehboob Rashid, Deputy Commissioner Maria Tariq and DPO Javed Iqbal Chaudhary were also accompanied.
Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail said that a detailed review of the ongoing Urs arrangements of Darbar Baba Farid Ganj Shakar was conducted.
The facilities provided to the pilgrims should be further improved. Full-proof security arrangements should be ensured during the Urs.
The Commissioner also inspected the control room, mini-hospital, ablution rooms and public washrooms established in the Darbar. There will be no compromise on ideal cleanliness in the Darbar, washrooms should be cleaned continuously. All arrangements should be made for immediate drainage in the expected rains.
The Commissioner and RPO also inspected the route of the main procession of Muharram-ul-Haram. The security of the mourners is a priority at all times. The organizers should also be taken into confidence in monitoring the meetings and processions. Instructions from Commissioner Sahiwal.
