Gaza City, which has been under siege by Israeli forces since March 2, 2025, is practically on the verge of famine. The Israeli army has allowed the US and Israeli-backed organization ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’ to distribute food to the people of Gaza since late May, but the food distributed by the ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’ to the people of Gaza, including flour, is being fed to the Palestinians by mixing narcotics.
According to Al Arabiya, this revelation was made by the official media office of Gaza. However, it is not yet known whether, in addition to narcotic drugs, any toxic drugs or chemicals are being added to the flour in the form of powders, which could prove dangerous to human health and life.
It should be noted that Israel and its army in Gaza have excluded every neutral institution, organization and human rights group, including the United Nations, from the aid and food distribution system. None of them is allowed to distribute food to the war-torn and starving Palestinians in Gaza.
Under the supervision of the Israeli army, this authority and right are completely entrusted to the American organization ‘Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’ established in May. The Israeli army is not willing to allow any other aid organization to do this work.
The United Nations and all its agencies express distrust of the Gaza Foundation and also question its impartiality. The food distribution centers of the American organization, the Gaza Foundation, operate under the protection of the Israeli army, and hundreds of Palestinians who come to receive food from these centers have been shot and killed during food distribution.
The Gaza Palestinian Media Office, after several weeks of reviewing the effects of the use of this flour on Palestinians, has revealed that the flour distributed at the Gaza Foundation’s aid centers is being mixed with the narcotic substance ‘oxycodone’. The Media Office has alleged that this narcotic substance is being deliberately added to render Palestinians physically and mentally incapacitated.
The statement issued by the Media Office further states that the addition of highly addictive substances to flour indicates a terrible and new Israeli crime targeting the health and social fabric of citizens in Gaza. This is a completely inhuman act that is being committed.
According to the statement, the Israeli occupation is solely responsible for this crime, which aims to spread addiction and destroy Palestinian society from within.
Omar Hammad, a pharmacist and writer in Gaza City, which is under Israeli siege, said that Israel is allegedly smuggling ‘Oxydon’ into Gaza in the name of aid and food.
It has also been revealed that this drug is not only hidden in flour bags, but the flour itself is also seen mixed with it.
Pharmacist Omar Hammad said in his post on ‘X’ on Thursday that ‘Gaza’s Anti-Narcotics Committee has urged citizens to be careful and use the food received from the so-called ‘death traps’ of American and Israeli aid centers only after careful examination. If any suspicious cases come to light, immediately inform the authorities.’
Remember, this week the United Nations accused Israel in Gaza of using food as a weapon in Gaza, which is a condemnable war crime.
