Sahiwal: Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Shahid Mahmood, along with Program Director Umar Javed of the PASAP project, visited Sarki Bazaar, Ghala Mandi, Dispensary Road, and GT Road. Member Punjab Assembly Muhammad Arshad Malik was also with him. During the visit, he reviewed the sewage problems and issued instructions for their immediate resolution. On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Niaz Ahmed Mughal, CEO of Sahiwal Water and Sanitation Services Company, Iftikhar Ali, City Manager Muhammad Asjad Khan, Chief Officer Corporation Sheikh Ashfaq Ahmed and concerned officers were also present. He said that the Municipal Corporation and PASAP officials should be in touch to clear the route of the Muharram procession. While inspecting the ongoing sewerage line laying work on GT Road during the visit, Member Punjab Assembly Muhammad Arshad Malik directed to complete it be completed soon so that the problems faced by the people during the rainy season could be resolved in a timely manner. He also reviewed the cleanliness situation around Dispensary Road and directed to further improve the cleanliness.
