Surrey / Canada: According to Indian media, a shooting incident occurred on Thursday morning at the famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant ‘Caps Cafe’ in Canada, in which at least nine shots were fired, but no casualties were reported.
According to the Times of India, Germany-based ‘Khalistani terrorist’ and Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) operative Harjeet Singh Laddi has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Laddi, who is on India’s National Investigation Agency’s most wanted list, has claimed that the reason for the attack was an old sketch from Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, which allegedly mocked naked Sikhs.
According to Indian media sources, Laddi said on social media that he and his colleagues tried to contact Kapil Sharma’s manager for an apology, but there was no response.
He warned that there would be consequences if Kapil Sharma did not publicly apologize.
However, no statement has been made by Kapil Sharma on the firing incident so far.
