Lahore: A Citizen who criticized Field Marshal Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz acquitted of the case, and handcuffs removed

A Lahore court discharged a citizen from a case filed against a citizen named Sajid for criticizing Field Marshal Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Yesterday, the son of a citizen named Sajid Nawaz had filed a petition in Lahore’s Sessions Court regarding the recovery of his father, on which the court ordered the police authorities to present the accused today.

On Tuesday, Green Town police station presented Sajid Nawaz in court, on court order, police removed the citizen’s handcuffs, judge acquitted the citizen from the case.

Green Town Police Station had registered a case against a citizen named Sajid.

It should be remembered that Omar, the son of the arrested citizen Sajid Nawaz, had taken the position in the application filed in the court that the police had arrested his father for 2 days, there is no case and he is not being presented in any court.

The son said that the police had made videos of my father apologizing and shared them on social media.

The petitioner requested the court to order the recovery of my father.

Justice Ghulam Farid had issued a notice and sought a response from the police on July 15. The court ordered that if the abductee is in police custody, he should be safely presented in court tomorrow.

It should be noted that a video of Sajid Nawaz riding a motorcycle through the water collected on the road after rain in Lahore in the past few days went viral, in which he used objectionable and offensive language against the Army Chief and the Chief Minister.
