Quetta: 20 people, including Bashir Ahmed, the main accused who killed the couple on the outskirts of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, have been arrested. The arrested suspects include Sherbaz Satakzai, the head of the Satakzai tribe, his 4 brothers, and 2 bodyguards. The case of the incident has been registered in the complaint of the SHO at Hanha Orak police station. The court has approved Sherbaz Satakzai’s 2-day physical remand.
Police have arrested more than 20 people after a video of a couple, Bano Satakzai and Ehsanullah Samalani, who were murdered three days before Eid-ul-Adha in the Degari area of Quetta went viral.
According to police sources, the arrested suspects include the main accused Bashir Ahmed and the head of the Satakzai tribe, Sardar Sherbaz Satakzai, his 4 brothers and 2 bodyguards. Quetta police have handed over the case to the Serious Crimes Investigation Wing for further investigation.
