Toronto: A second shooting incident has come to light at Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Canada, which has sparked controversy due to his association with Salman Khan.
Yesterday, unknown persons opened fire at Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s ‘Cups Cafe’ in Canada, which is the second attack after the attack in July last month.
Unknown attackers fired 25 shots at the cafe from a moving vehicle; fortunately, no one was injured, but the windows and the building were damaged considerably.
According to India Today, Indian comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe was attacked for the second time in a month, for which the Lawrence Bishnavi Group has claimed responsibility.
The report said that after the attack, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang also released an audio message, in which it was said that the cafe was targeted because Kapil Sharma had invited Salman Khan on his Netflix show.
The audio message threatened that the cafe was fired on for the first and now the second time because he had invited Salman Khan to inaugurate the cafe on his Netflix show.
The gang member also said that we want to tell everyone in Mumbai that no one should work with Salman Khan, and if anyone does so, he will also be targeted and shot straight in the chest.
Earlier, Salman Khan had participated as a guest in the first episode of the third season of Netflix’s show ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’, where he talked about the inauguration of the cafe, and a gang member had threatened him using the same incident as the reason.
This is not the first time that a celebrity has been targeted because of his association with Salman Khan.
Last year, there was a shooting outside the home of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver, after he released a music video with Salman Khan.
