Islamabad: The Ministry of Law and Justice says that the Chief Justice is given a pension of Rs 2.39 million after retirement.

The ministry presented details in this regard during the question hour in the Senate, according to which:

In 2010, the Chief Justice received a pension of 560,000

In 2011, 644,000

In 2012, 773,000

In 2013, 850,000

In 2014, 935,000

In 2015, 105,000

In 2016, 115,000

In 2017, 1217,000

In 2018, 1338,000

In 2021, 1452,000

In 2023, 1657,000

In 2024, the Chief Justice’s pension increased to 239,000

The judge’s widow will get a driver, a cleaner, 2,000 units of electricity, and free water are also available, and the judge’s widow will receive a monthly stipend. 300 liters of petrol are also provided, while income tax will not be collected from the judge’s widow.
