Karachi: It has been revealed that a 26-year-old girl working in a bank in Bahadurabad Dhoraji Sherpao Basti was raped by calling her on the pretext of getting a credit card. A case of the incident has been registered at the Bahadurabad police station on the complaint of the victim girl.
The victim girl stated to the police that the bank does vehicle leasing and credit card making work. The accused raped her on the pretext of getting a credit card and kept making videos.
The statement said that on July 7, a person named Mahzoor contacted her to get a credit card. On August 10, she was called to a private hospital in Dhoraji. When I reached the private hospital at around 8:15 pm, a man named Mahzoor took me to a house on the opposite street. There was already a man and a woman in the house. I was given juice to drink, after which I became semi-conscious.
The girl said that the second man tied her to the bed and the first man raped her. The accused continued to rape her for an hour and made videos. The man said that I should come to see her again, otherwise I will make the video viral and told me that I will kill you. After leaving the house, I went straight to Jinnah Hospital in a rickshaw.
According to SHO Bahadurabad Naveed Soomro, the victim had reached the hospital without informing the police about the incident, even though the police station was very close. The police had reached the hospital on the information of the MLO, and the police recorded the victim’s statement at the hospital. The victim said that she leases vehicles on commission. The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
