Virginia: Pakistani students and others residing in the US on visas are facing increasing uncertainty, as even minor violations, political activity or incomplete documents can now jeopardize their stay.
Recent cases show that traffic violations and campus protests can be reported to the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which has worried the Pakistani community.
Two Pakistani students in Northern Virginia were shocked when a traffic court judge told them that courts are now required to share traffic violation records with DHS.
