Excellent academic results of Divisional Public School and College Sahiwal, Commissioner Sahiwal Dr. Asif Tufail, assure to completion of the construction of the new building

Sahiwal: Divisional Public School and College, Sahiwal, has crossed another educational milestone. The students of Cambridge School participated in the O-Level examination for the first time and achieved outstanding grades. To commemorate this educational milestone, a special ceremony was held at the principal’s office, in which certificates were given to the students and teachers. The special guest of the ceremony was Commissioner Sahiwal/Chairman Sahiwal Educational Trust, Dr. Asif Tufail. Principal Akbar Ali, Vice Principal Momina Izad, and Bursar Kashif Sattar, along with parents of the students, were also present. Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail congratulated the students, teachers and parents on the excellent academic results of the first class and said that the establishment of Cambridge School in DPS is an important step towards promoting quality education in Sahiwal, which has lived up to the trust of the parents due to the hard work of the teachers. He urged the teachers to pay special attention to the personality development of the children and encourage their participation in co-curricular activities and sports along with curricular education. He also assured to complete the construction of the new building of Cambridge School would be completed before the next academic session. Vice Principal Momina Izad said that 175 children are currently studying in the Cambridge classes starting from September 2023, which is a reflection of the trust of the parents in the school. She also said that the city’s first AI lab will be established in the new campus building so that the students can benefit from modern educational requirements. Two teachers, Sarwari Nida and Misbah Zuberi, were also given Best Teachers certificates at the ceremony.
