Sahiwal: On the instructions of District Police Officer Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman Khan, foolproof security arrangements have been finalized across the district on the occasion of Chehlum Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS). For the main procession to be held in Sahiwal city on 29 Safar-ul-Muzaffar, 5 gazetted officers, 9 SHOs, 67 upper subordinates, around 300 lower subordinates, including lady constables, 3 teams of elite force, and more than 71 traffic police personnel will be on duty. Similarly, for the main procession to be held in Chichawatni city on 30 Safar-ul-Muzaffar, 3 gazetted officers, 5 SHOs, 35 upper subordinates, around 150 lower subordinates, including lady constables, two teams of the police, and more than 34 traffic police personnel have been deployed on security duty. CCTV monitoring on the procession routes, checking at the entry and exit points, and parking arrangements have also been finalized.
