Members of the Provincial Assembly participate in the annual 268th Urs of Baba Bulleh Shah

Qasoor: On the occasion of the annual 268th Urs of the great Sufi poet Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, members of the Provincial Assembly Muhammad Naeem Safdar Ansari and Chaudhry Ahsan Raza visited the shrine of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah and laid a wreath and prayed for the well-being and security of the country Pakistan.
On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Ramesh Singh Arora said that the poetry of Baba Bulleh Shah gives a message of peace, love and has a universal status. The land of Kasur has gained a prominent place in the world because of Baba Bulleh Shah. The message of peace and love that Baba Bulleh Shah has given through his poetry is a beacon for humanity. Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan said that Baba Bulleh Shah is a great Sufi poet of the Indian subcontinent whose words are a source of reform for the present era as well. Baba Bulleh Shah challenged the system of that time and declared humanity as the greatest religion. Haji Naeem Safdar Ansari said on this occasion that the presence of Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah’s shrine in Kasur is a blessing for the people of Kasur. We should make his teachings a beacon of light for us. Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah’s poetry is worthy of imitation for the intellectual requirements of every era. Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Zaheer Iqbal Chanar, members of the Provincial Assembly Haji Muhammad Naeem Safdar Ansari, Chaudhry Ahsan Raza, ADCG Salman Ayub, Deputy Director Information Tabinda Saleem, Manager Auqaf Tariq Mahmood Najmi and other district officers were also present on this occasion.
