London / Lahore: The Resorts of the powerful were saved by razing entire settlements of the poor in the natural disaster. Resorts of the powerful were submerged in poor areas of Lahore to save Aleem Khan’s society

Speaking on a podcast program over the telephone from London, the editor-in-chief of the most widely published and award-winning newspaper Nawa-e-Waqt London, the English newspaper Daily Dawn London, and OK TV and Dawn TV UK Director News Dr. Akhtar Gulfam has revealed that the common people had to sacrifice themselves to protect the interests of the powerful class in the country and entire settlements were destroyed to save the resorts of influential people on the banks of the river.

Dr. Akhtar Gulfam said that elite culture in Pakistan has given rise to social injustice, where no poor person gets a place on the banks of the river, but luxurious resorts of influential personalities stand.

Dr. Akhtar Gulfam added that there is no trust between the provinces regarding dams and canals. Balochistan suspects that its water is being withheld, and Sindh gets water but does not release it. Due to this distrust, no consensus emerges, while the permanent solution to this problem is a modern telemetry system.

Dr. Akhtar Gulfam added that some people have been cultivated in the middle of the rivers, but the real benefit always goes to the influential class. Dozens of poor settlements are destroyed to secure the resorts of just a few people.
