Washington: Indian intelligence officer Yadav hatched a plot to assassinate the Sikh leader, and Nikhil Gupta was to execute it
More shocking revelations have come to light from Indian citizen Nikhil Gupta, who was arrested in New York for attempting to assassinate Sikh leader Gurpat Wunnat Singh Panan.
These revelations have exposed the hideous face of India’s Modi government, which commits heinous crimes like murder through RAW agents in other countries.
According to the Bloomberg report, Nikhil Gupta was arrested in June 2023 in the European country of the Czech Republic and extradited to the United States, where he is being tried.
It should be noted that Nikhil Gupta is a businessman who travels by air to many countries and was tasked by Indian intelligence officer Akash Yadav to kill a Sikh leader.
Businessman Nikhil Gupta had several cases in India, including fraud, from which he was assured of acquittal by Akash Yadav, an officer associated with the Indian intelligence agency RAW.
Akash Yadav had told Nikhil Yadav to carry out the plan to kill only one Sikh leader. However, American intelligence had come to know that the leader was safe.
According to Bloomberg, court documents show that Nikhil Gupta and Yadav also planned to kill another target in Nepal and Pakistan.
Nikhil Gupta and Yadav are also involved in the murder of Khalistan activist Hardeep Singh Najjar in Canada in 2023.
According to the Bloomberg report, Gurpat Wunnat Singh and Hardeep Singh Najjar were associates and representatives of the Khalistan movement in Canada and the United States.
The evidence submitted by US prosecutors to the court includes hundreds of WhatsApp messages and emails between Nikhil Gupta and Yadav.
The Bloomberg report claims that the suspects discussed targets, weapons procurement and planning in these mobile messages.
According to Bloomberg, India had also admitted that its agents may have been involved in a conspiracy to attempt an assassination in the US, and one person has been dismissed from RAW.
The report says that the Modi government’s infiltration and terrorist activities are straining India’s relations with Pakistan, Nepal, the US and Canada and are also raising questions about violations of international law.
