‘The position of Chief Minister was a trust of Imran Khan. I am returning his trust to him and resigning.’

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced on Wednesday that he is resigning from the post of Chief Minister after the news of his removal.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Salman Akram Raja confirmed on Wednesday that PTI founder Imran Khan has decided to remove Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur from the post and has nominated Sohail Afridi in his place.
After which, a statement has now been issued from the office of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which Ali Amin Gandapur himself has announced his resignation from the post.
In the statement, Ali Amin Gandapur said, “The position of Chief Minister was a trust of Imran Khan Sahib and as per his order, I am returning his trust to him and submitting my resignation.”
