Sahiwal: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail made a surprise visit to Sahiwal Teaching Hospital, where he made a detailed review of various departments. During the visit, he inspected the hospital’s laundry, oxygen generation plant and doctors’ residences. On this occasion, Principal Sahiwal Medical College Professor Akhtar Malik also briefed him about the ongoing work in the hospital. While visiting the laundry, Dr. Asif Tufail said that the provision of clean and germ-free garments to the patients should be ensured at all costs. He checked the quality of the clothes washed by the machine and got detailed information about the cleaning steps from the machine operator. Commissioner Sahiwal Dr. Asif Tufail, also took a briefing regarding the oxygen generation plant and directed the hospital administration to activate the plant as soon as possible to provide immediate relief to the patients. On this occasion, Principal Sahiwal Medical College Professor Dr. Muhammad Akhtar, Director of Development and Finance Shafiq Ahmed Dogar and other hospital staff were also present. Dr. Asif Tufail said that, as per the instructions of the Punjab government, providing the best health facilities to the patients is the top priority, and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
