Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has refused to attend a high-level meeting chaired by the Prime Minister.
Refusing to attend the meeting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi took the stand that he has personally excused himself from attending the meeting regarding Afghan refugees.
He said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have given their votes and mandate to Imran Khan, and unless I meet Imran Khan and take policy guidelines, attending any such meeting will be an insult to the mandate of the people of the province.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that he hopes that the federal government will resolve this issue as soon as possible and issue directions to the relevant authorities so that arrangements can be made for my meeting with Imran Khan.
