Sahiwal: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail has said that quality educational institutions and hardworking teachers are of fundamental importance for the youth to face the challengers of the future, and we should encourage such educational institutions which are providing quality education to the students at very low fees. He was addressing the third alumni function of the former students of Divisional Public School and Colleges, Sahiwal, here, which was attended by a large number of former students from Pakistan and abroad. Members of the Board of Trustees were also present on the occasion. Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail urged the graduating students to come forward for the betterment of their educational institution and the city and to encourage intelligent but less resourced students and perform their social duty. He appreciated the hard work of the teachers for their excellent academic achievements and expressed hope that the same high standard would be maintained through tireless work and attention. Earlier, the principal said that the building of Cambridge School is being completed rapidly and classes will start in the same building from the next academic year. A documentary on the educational journey of the school since its establishment in a rented building in 1986 was also shown at the ceremony.
