Sahiwal: DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu attended a traffic awareness seminar held at COMSATS University Sahiwal. DPO Sahiwal spoke in detail to the participants regarding compliance with traffic rules and responsible driving, and also answered their questions. DPO Muhammad Usman Tipu said in his address that the Chief Minister of Punjab’s vision is to improve the traffic system, reduce traffic violations, and prevent the loss of precious lives in accidents. Deaths in traffic accidents are sometimes higher than the rate of murder cases. Therefore, awareness of traffic rules is very important. He said that Sahiwal Police has set up awareness camps at different places in the city, while continuous awareness is also being provided through the media. However, traffic rules are most effective in educational institutions because the youth can become the real “traffic ambassadors” and convey this message to their families and society. DPO Muhammad Usman Tipu said that if more than 200 students are present here, they can convey this message of traffic awareness to their families, and we can reach thousands of people. DPO Sahiwal instructed the students that using helmets, adhering to lanes, avoiding underage driving, and respecting traffic rules are not only important for their own lives but also for the overall safety of the entire society.
