London: The Fifth Pakistan Remittance Summit 2025 was held at the Millennium Hotel London.
In which the Pakistani High Commissioner, Dr Muhammad Faisal, was the chief guest. The delegation of Pakistani banks at this summit was led by Dr Inayat Hussain, Executive Director, State Bank of Pakistan, and included the chairmen and CEOs of various banks and global money transfer operators.
This remittance summit was held in London and Manchester. Pakistanis attended the remittance summit.
The High Commissioner said that the UK is home to the largest and most vibrant Pakistani diaspora in the world and is among the top remittance sending countries to Pakistan year after year. The remarkable increase in remittances is due to the unwavering trust of overseas Pakistanis and the seamless coordination between the State Bank of Pakistan Remittance and our commercial banks, which have made sending money home much easier than before.
Giving a detailed briefing, Dr Inayat Hussain (Executive Director, State Bank of Pakistan) said that Pakistanis should send money to their country safely through banks. He further said that overseas Pakistanis can also earn profits by investing their capital safely through the Roshan Digital Account. Profits can be earned by investing in government securities, listed shares, and real estate.
Other speakers included Syed Ali Raza and Faheem Farooqi, while the program was attended by Deputy High Commissioner Haseeb Bin Aziz, Press Minister Ali Nawaz Malik and other senior officers, as well as a large number of community members.
