Oxford: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, received an important international award at the world level at a prestigious international ceremony organized by the Association of International Lawyers (AIL). This honor was given to prominent lawyer Muhammad Nasir Ghilzai Advocate, Secretary General of AIL for Pakistan, in recognition of his outstanding public welfare and reform legal services.
This Best Award was presented by the Chief Prosecutor of Ukraine during a ceremony held at the historic educational center of the United Kingdom, the University of Oxford (Cable College). The award is given in recognition of the valuable services of Advocate Muhammad Nasir Ghilzai, under which an effective legal and social struggle was carried out to include the thalassemia test and HIV blood test in the marriage certificate, which is a significant step towards a healthy society and the protection of future generations.
International legal experts, diplomats, and distinguished guests present at the ceremony described this initiative as an exemplary one for Pakistan and the world.
On this occasion, Advocate Muhammad Nasir Ghilzai dedicated this international award to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council, High Court Bar Association, and District Bar Associations. He said that its aim is to encourage the legal community, especially young lawyers, so that they too can continuously strive for public service, legal reforms, and to make Pakistan famous at the global level.
He further said that this honor is not for him but for the entire legal community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan, and he will continue his services for the rule of law, protection of public health and promotion of international legal cooperation in the future.
The ceremony was held in the historic and academic setting of Oxford University, which made this international honor even more prestigious and memorable.
