Islamabad: Senior journalist Matiullah Jan has said in a tweet that his journey with a private TV channel has come to an abrupt end.

He blamed the government for his dismissal and said, “This is not the first government during which I have faced this situation.”
Matiullah Jan wrote that discussing democracy, freedom of expression, journalists, and journalism is not a crime.

It should be noted that a few days ago, Matiullah Jan had organized a ceremony in honor of foreign journalists who came to Pakistan for the Iran-US talks, in which he informed the government about filing cases against journalists and human rights activists and taking action against them.
