Former Prime Minister Intends to Focus on International Affairs and Women’s Rights Issues in Future

London: Former British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has decided to leave his parliamentary seat. He has announced his resignation as Member of Parliament for Holborn and St. Pancras.
After Keir Starmer’s resignation, there will be a by-election in the constituency, which Starmer had been representing since 2015.
Keir Starmer said in his statement that it has been an honor and a source of pride for him to represent the people of Holborn and St. Pancras for the past 11 years.
The former Prime Minister said that in the future he wants to focus on international affairs and ending violence against women and girls, among other issues.
