Islamabad: A Human smuggler sent youths abroad by creating fake documents from the Pakistan Football Federation and a fake NOC from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Gujranwala team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a human smuggler involved in sending 17 youths to Japan by displaying a fake registration certificate of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
According to the FIA, the accused Waqas Ali used a fake letter from PFF as well as a fake No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to obtain visas.
The accused also received Rs 4 million to 4.5 million each to send the youths to Japan.
The Federal Investigation Agency further said that the accused had also sent 17 youths to Japan in 2024 by obtaining visit visas.
According to the Federal Investigation Agency, further investigation is underway with the accused to arrest other facilitators involved in human trafficking.
