Dhaka: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced not to send the national team to India for the T20 World Cup.
According to a BCB statement, an emergency meeting of the board’s directors was held this afternoon, in which it was decided not to send the Bangladesh team to India.
According to the statement, the meeting reviewed the development of the T20 World Cup to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
According to a BCB statement, the Board of Governors decided in the meeting that the Bangladesh national team will not go to India.
According to the statement, the meeting also reviewed the situation that had arisen in the last 24 hours in detail, in light of which the ICC has been formally informed.
According to the statement, the BCB said that the decision not to send the national team to India is necessary for the safety of the players, team officials, board members, and other stakeholders.
