Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has disqualified 2 PTI MPAs based on their convictions by the Anti-Terrorism Court.
On the decision of the Anti-Terrorism Court, Faisalabad, the Election Commission disqualified Shahid Javed from PP-115.
The Election Commission disqualified Muhammad Ismail from PP-116. The Election Commission de-notified both members and declared the seats vacant.
It is to be recalled that the Anti-Terrorism Court had sentenced both the MPAs to two years in prison.
