London: A huge protest was held by Pakistanis and Sikhs outside the Indian High Commission in London.
Apart from London, Pakistanis and Sikhs from other cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Luton, Hounslow and Slough participated in the protest.
The protesters were holding banners in addition to Pakistani, Kashmiri and Palestinian flags, while the protesters were shouting slogans in favor of the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine and Pakistan and the Pakistani army.
A heavy police force was deployed during the protest. The protest was supposed to start at 3 pm, but the police force had reached outside the Indian High Commission three hours earlier and all the roads were blocked by barricades. The surprising thing about this time’s protest was that no Indian citizen or protestor was seen outside the Indian High Commission.
At the end of the protest, prayers were offered for the freedom of Kashmir and Palestine and the prosperity of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
Unlike the previous protests, no untoward incident occurred during this demonstration.
