London: A large protest demonstration was held outside the Indian High Commission in Aldwich, London under the Pakistan Muslim League (N) UK chapter. The demonstration aimed to condemn the baseless allegations leveled by India against Pakistan after the incident in Pahalgam-occupied Kashmir on April 22.

The protesters held Pakistani flags and placards and raised slogans like “Long live General Asim Munir”, “Long live Pakistan”, “Kashmir belongs to Pakistan” and “Down with Indian terrorism”.

The protesters also raised strong slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Hindutva ideology, including “Modi is a terrorist” and “Hindutva ideology is unacceptable”.

Addressing the protesters, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) UK President Ahsan Dar said that this gathering reflects the love of overseas Pakistanis for their homeland. He said that India started a false campaign by accusing Pakistan of the Pahalgam incident without any evidence, which seems to be a false flag operation.

Ahsan Dar added that workers of PTI, PML-N and other parties also participated in this protest in full force, which is a symbol of national unity.

The demonstration was peaceful. London Police provided security during the demonstration.
