British Prime Minister’s house catches fire, investigation underway

British police are investigating a fire at British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s house

London: Police are investigating after a fire broke out at British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s house in north London.

The entrance to the property in Kentish Town has been damaged and police and investigators have cordoned off the area.

London Fire Brigade said it was called to a “small fire” at 01:11 BST and it was brought under control about 20 minutes later.

His official spokesman said Sir Keir thanked the emergency services for their work.

The prime minister, who now lives at his official residence in Downing Street but is understood to still own the property,
