London: Air India has been named the worst airline for UK flight delays.
An analysis of data from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has revealed that Air India flights at UK airports were on average 45 minutes and 48 seconds late from their departure schedule in 2024.
The route with the longest average delay was Gatwick to Bangalore, with an average delay of 1 hour and 23 minutes recorded across 50 flights.
The airline says that the flight delays were mainly due to factors beyond its control.
