London: A new round of trade talks between China and the US has begun in London, following talks between the two rival countries in Geneva last month.
The international news agency AFP has quoted the Chinese official Xinhua News Agency as saying that the two sides are meeting at the historic Lancaster House run by the British Foreign Office, with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng leading the negotiating team in London again.
President Donald Trump said on Friday that Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, Commerce Secretary Howard Latnick and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer are leading the US negotiating delegation.
President Trump said on his ‘Truth Social’ platform that the meeting should be very good.
