London: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has urged US President Donald Trump to back off military action against Iran.
The Prime Minister says there is a ‘real risk of escalation’ in the conflict. The British Prime Minister has urged all parties to find a diplomatic solution.
He says there have been several rounds of talks with the US before and ‘I think this is the way to resolve this issue.’
His statement comes at a time when Foreign Secretary David Lammy will travel to Washington with Britain’s request for a reduction in tensions, where he will meet President Trump’s top diplomat Marco Rubio.
