London: US President Donald Trump was in the Situation Room of the White House when Iran launched a missile attack on a US base in Qatar.

According to the British newspaper The Telegraph, the US president intends to proceed with the meeting with his national security team as scheduled, which was to be held at 1 pm US time.

The Trump administration said in a statement that the White House and the Department of Defense are aware of the potential threats and are closely monitoring them.

It should be remembered that on June 13, Israel attacked Iran and targeted several Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians in Tehran. The Zionist government had asked the US for help in destroying Iran’s most important Fordow nuclear site.

US President Donald Trump dropped 14 bombs weighing 30,000 pounds on Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan in the early hours of June 22, in addition to launching missile attacks. After this, Iran announced retaliation and announced that it would target US bases.

Today, on the night of June 23, Iran launched missile attacks on US bases in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iraq, after which world affairs experts believe that the delicate situation in the Middle East seems to be heading towards further tension.
