More than 70 people were arrested during demonstrations in Britain on Saturday in support of the Palestine Action Group.

The ban on the organization came at a time when its activists stormed a Royal Air Force (RAF) base in Oxfordshire and damaged two aircraft.
According to the Metropolitan Police in London, 42 people were detained by evening, 41 of whom were arrested on charges of supporting the banned organization.
According to police, demonstrations that include chanting slogans, wearing distinctive clothing or displaying flags, banners and other symbolic items in support of an organisation are considered criminal acts.
One person was arrested on charges of common assault.
Police said a further 16 people were arrested in Manchester and 13 in Cardiff.
