Manchester: Posting in Manchester, the new Consul General of Pakistan, Ch. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal has said that the Pakistani community represents the identity and dignity of Pakistan in the UK. He assured that he will not only increase the facilities at the consulate but also take practical steps to strengthen further the relations between the Pakistani community and British institutions.
Ch. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal has said that he considers journalists to be the voice of the community, and through transparent and positive reporting of the media, the issues of the community are conveyed to the higher authorities in a better manner. He said that his door is always open for the Pakistani community, and he will always play his role with the spirit of public service.
On the very first day in the office, Ch. Imtiaz Feroz Gondal met with journalists from the most widely published newspaper from the UK and winner of the Newspaper of the Year award, Nawa-i-Waqt London, the English newspaper Daily Dawn London, OK TV, and Dawn TV, including Ch. Talat Gondal, and discussed in detail the issues facing the community.
