Leaving the party could reduce the number of government members to 58 and the PTI government could lose its majority in the House

Peshawar: In the change of the current government setup in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the 35 independent members present in the provincial assembly have taken decisive shape.
If the above members remain with the PTI, the Ali Amin government will continue to have the support of 93 members in the 145-member House, however, if they leave the government, the number of government members will come down to 58, which will cause the government to lose its majority in the House.
Ali Amin Gandapur’s government currently has the support of 93 members in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, of which 58 members belong to the PTI while 35 members of the PTIP are present in the house as independent members.
Among them are Asif Khan South Waziristan Upper, Muhammad Usman Tank, Ali Hadi Karam, Aurangzeb Khan Orakzai, Shah Abu Turab Hangu, Shafiullah Jan Kohat, Dawood Dashah Kohat, Aftab Alam Kohat, Khaliqur Rehman Nowshera, Mina Khan Peshawar, Sher Ali Afridi Peshawar, Muhammad Sohail Afridi Khyber, Muhammad Adnan Qadri Khyber, Muhammad Israr Mohmand, Rangiz Khan Swabi, Malik Adil Iqbal Haripur, Mushtaq Ghani Abbottabad, Iftikhar Jadoon Abbottabad, Rajab Ali Abbasi Abbottabad, Laik Muhammad Khan Torghar, Zahid Chanzeb Mansehra, Munir Hussain Mansehra, Taj Muhammad Butgram, Zubair Khan Butgram, Muhammad Riyaz Kolai Palace Kohistan, Fazal Haq Kohistan Upper, Abdul Moneem Shangla, Abdul Kabir Khan Buner, Musawar Khan Malakand, Ajmal Khan Bajaur, Liaquat Ali Khan Lower Dir, Shafiullah Lower Dir, Amjad Ali Swat, Fazal Hakeem Swat and Deputy Speaker Provincial Assembly Suraya Bibi Chitral Bala are included.
On the other hand, 27 members from five opposition parties are present in the house, including 9 members each from the Muslim League (N) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, 5 members from the PPP, while 2 members each from the ANP and PTI parliamentarians are part of the house.
