Islamabad: The federal government has filed a miscellaneous petition in the Islamabad High Court to immediately dispose of the request for the release of Aafia Siddiqui. Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, while talking to the Additional Attorney General, said that you say there is no agreement with the US regarding the exchange of prisoners, yesterday you caught the person and handed him over to the US without any agreement.

Petitioner lawyer Imran Shafiq Advocate and Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dogal, Dr. Fawzia Siddiqui and their American lawyer appeared in the court through video link.
During the hearing, a miscellaneous application was filed by the federal government to immediately dispose of the request for the release of Aafia Siddiqui. The court issued notice on the miscellaneous application of the government and sought a response.
