Lord’s Cricket Ground resonates with the sound of the call to prayer, iftar organized

London: The historic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London resonated with the sound of the call to prayer during Ramadan.

Hundreds of people participated in the open iftar organized by the Ramadan Tent Project at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Before the iftar, the participants were informed about the truth of Islam and the importance of fasting, while non-Muslims also broke their fast with dates at the call to prayer in the evening.

On this occasion, Founder and CEO of Ramadan Tent Project Omar Salah said that open iftar aims to bring different communities closer, iftar parties around the world also become a means of communication between communities.

Omar Salah said that he is very grateful to King Charles for allowing iftar at Windsor Castle, Britain’s multicultural society is a matter of pride and we are trying to win the hearts of people through our efforts.
England team player Saqib Mahmood also attended the Iftar, while those who participated in the Open Iftar described the experience of breaking the fast together as wonderful.

It should be noted that iftars have been organized at important places in the country for the past 13 years under the auspices of the Ramadan Tent Project, while King Charles also opened the doors of his royal palace to Muslims last week.
