Jaffar Express hijacking: Suicide bombers are sitting next to hostages

Quetta: After the attack on the Quetta-Peshawar Jaffar Express and taking 500 passengers hostage, 30 terrorists were killed in a clearance operation, while forces rescued 190 passengers, and the suicide bombers are sitting next to the remaining hostages.

According to security sources, extreme caution is being exercised in the operation due to the presence of women and children with the suicide bombers, and the security forces are conducting an operation to eliminate the remaining terrorists.

The operation has been cleared in three to four bogies of the Jaffar Express train.

The train had left Quetta at 9:30 am on March 11. When the train passed through the areas of Gudalar and Peru Kanri, unknown armed men opened fire on the train.

As a result of the firing, the driver was seriously injured and later succumbed to his injuries, while several passengers were also killed.
