Islamabad: PTI was not allowed to speak on the Jafar Express attack in the National Assembly session, which PTI has protested against.
According to Dawn TV, the National Assembly session began under the chairmanship of Presiding Officer Abdul Qadir Patel. Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Khan tried to speak on the terrorist attack on a train in Balochistan on a point of objection, but Abdul Qadir Patel refused to allow him to speak and said that the situation in Balochistan should be discussed during the discussion on the presidential address.
Prayers were not offered for the martyrs in the terrorist incident in Balochistan, PTI members started protesting against not allowing the opposition leader to speak. Meanwhile, the Presiding Officer started the question period.
Opposition member Iqbal Afridi pointed out the quorum and said that he was not allowed to speak on such a big attack in Balochistan. Later, the counting was started in the house.
