Lahore: Imran Khan and DIG Imran Kishor, head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of May 9 cases, have resigned.

DIG Imran Kishor, head of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed against PTI founder Imran Khan and head of the May 9 cases, has resigned.

Dawn Media has obtained a copy of DIG Imran Kishor’s resignation, while his resignation is a big blow to the Punjab Police.

DIG Imran Kishor has said in his resignation that I am resigning from the Police Service of Pakistan, I have upheld my oath with unwavering determination and personally paid the price many times.

He further wrote that I am at a point where my further service is not possible. History is a witness that I have served with honor. I will not serve in silence. Please accept my resignation.
