London: British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer hosted an Iftar party for the Muslim community.
The Iftar party was held at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer. The British Prime Minister offered dates to the participants of the Iftar party to break the fast.
British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, in his address to the Iftar party, said that on the occasion of Iftar, there was an opportunity to unite the communities, challenge misconceptions and support the youth. I welcome the inspiring British Muslim youth for Iftar. It is an honor to break the fast with them. Muslims are as much connected to the 10 Downing Street building as anyone else.
The Iftar was attended by Justice Secretary and Lord Chancellor Shabana Mahmood, Faith Minister Lord Wajid Khan, Brent Council Leader Councillor Muhammad Butt, as well as women serving in the British Army and young people who have rendered distinguished services in various fields.
