London: Pakistanis also demonstrated in front of the Pakistan High Commission in London against the demonstration by extremist Hindus.
The Pakistani and Kashmiri communities participated in the protest in large numbers. It raised slogans and banners in favor of the Pakistani forces and institutions, while slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Awam Payinda Bad were echoing from all sides.
Workers from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and People’s Party participated in large numbers among the protesters.
A heavy contingent of police was deployed on the occasion, which was determined to prevent clashes or any unpleasant incident between the protesters from the two countries.
While a few of the Indian extremist protesters were also detained for breaking the law.
The demonstration lasted from 4 pm to 8 pm, when a Hindu extremist took a police officer into custody for racially abusing him.
Pakistani protesters carried banners with tea cups and pictures of Abhinandan, and Pakistani protesters offered tea cups to Indian Hindu extremist protesters, reminding them of the Pakistan Air Force’s response to any military aggression.
The protesters said that if India committed any aggression, it would be met with a befitting reply. They further noted that at this time, the entire Pakistani nation and all political parties are standing by the side of the Pakistani forces. Pakistani flags were flying everywhere outside the High Commission in London, and national songs were being played loudly.
