Sahiwal: Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed made a detailed visit to the city early in the morning. Expressing displeasure over the deteriorating state of cleanliness in the city, heaps of garbage everywhere are a sign of administrative incompetence. He said that no supervisor was seen in the city to get the cleanliness done. He said that the attendance of sanitary staff should be checked daily and temporary dumping sites should be made in the city soon so that the accumulated garbage can be disposed of. He further said that the concerned officers should improve their communication so that attention can be paid to cleanliness. Instead of sitting in offices, officers should go out to the field. A mechanism should also be set up to address public grievances and public grievances should be resolved immediately. Commissioner Sahiwal Division Shoaib Iqbal Syed also visited Sadar Bazaar and Pakpattan Bazaar. He reviewed the work of drains under construction in both markets.
