On the occasion of International Labour Day, a grand workers’ convention was organized by the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Labor Wing at Alhamra Hall Lahore, in which Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, Provincial Minister for Labor and Manpower Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, MNA Shumaila Rana,
President Labor Wing PML-N Syed Muhammad Mushtaq Hussain, Secretary General Chaudhry Sajjad Ahmed and office bearers and labor leaders from all over Punjab participated.
Federal Minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah said in his address that the Muslim League (N) is a labor-friendly party, and our priority is to see the working class prosper. He praised the initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the wonderful projects for the welfare of laborers in Punjab province and said that Punjab is the largest province in terms of population and its labor force is also very large, however, looking at the initiatives of the Punjab government, one can hope that the protection of labor rights is being ensured in the true sense. He made a special prayer for the end of the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, Palestine and Kashmir and said that India should know that if it looks at Pakistan with a dirty eye, they will gouge out your eyes. Every Pakistani stands with its forces like a leaden wall.
