Sahiwal: A prize distribution ceremony was organized at Jinnah Hall, Arts Council under the auspices of the Punjab Group of Colleges. Scholarship certificates and cash prizes were distributed among the children who passed the scholarship test held a few months ago. The girl who secured the first position was given an electric scooter worth Rs 1.5 lakh and a scholarship of Rs 2.5 lakh. The child who secured the second position was given a cash prize of Rs 30,000, and the child who secured the third position was given a cash prize of Rs 20,000, a scholarship of Rs 2.5 lakh, and a two-year free education package. The first ten children were also provided with two years of free education. The ceremony was attended by DPO Sahiwal Rana Tahir-ur-Rehman, President District Bar Association Sahiwal Saeed Ahmed Sangla, General Secretary Naveed Khan Baloch, Patron Chief Social Welfare Alhaj Muhammad Nadeem Chaudhry, Sheikh Asif Mehr, Allah Yar, Chaudhry Abdul Ghaffar, Dr. Mujtaba Jamal, Ehsanullah Awan, Ikram Singhala, Dr. Bilal, Chaudhry Zahid Zaildar, Malik Khawar Shafiq Divisional Head Takaful, Mehr Mohd Aamir Aziz, District Sports Officer Sahiwal Dr. Osama, Price Control Magistrate and other political and social figures. On this occasion, Principal Punjab Group of Colleges, Tauseef Ahmed, welcomed the special guests and presented bouquets. On this occasion, prizes and certificates were also distributed among the children by the special guests. At the end of the ceremony, shields of honor were also distributed among the guests by the Principal of Punjab Group of Colleges.
