Sahiwal: President of Bar Association Sahiwal Malik Saeed Ahmed Sigla has said that special measures are being taken for the welfare of lawyers. Along with the insurance of lawyers, work is also being done for the treatment of lawyers. He expressed these views in a panel interview with Rana Waheed, Bureau Chief of the most published and multi-award winning newspaper Nawa-i-Waqt from the UK, English newspaper Daily Dawn, OK TV and Dawn TV, District Reporter Muhammad Abrar and Crime Reporter Alamdar Hussain Zaidi. Earlier, Sahiwal Bar President Malik Saeed Ahmed was presented with a shield by Dawn TV. He said for the better health of lawyers, we have talked with Al-Khidmat Hospital, where lawyers will be treated free of charge. We have passed in the Barroom meeting that a 20 KV solar is being installed. Alhamdulillah, the contract for the cycle stand has been increased from Rs 70 lakh to Rs 12.5 crore. Work is being done for the welfare of lawyers. The barroom is being coded for ladies’ lawyers at a cost of lakhs of rupees. The approval of the Bar Authority has also been given. We have also passed a plan for tree plantation in the entire courtroom. Like other institutions, the barroom is also being beautified. It has also been decided to give shields to senior lawyers. For the first time, shields were also given by the Barroom to senior judges and judges above 50 years of age. The barroom will be beautified soon. The photos of our 37 lawyers who were burned during the 2007 movement will be displayed outside the room hall.
